Chris DeVolder AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP

Chris is the managing principal of the Kansas City studio. He draws on his more than two decades of experience to collaborate with clients and lead design teams on projects spanning sports facilities, healthcare spaces and science and technology work throughout the Midwest. Chris is deeply committed to helping clients create viable, sustainable and beautiful solutions that address their most pressing issues. He’s a member of HOK’s board of directors and management board.
A frequent speaker and author, Chris believes each space has the opportunity to make an indelible impact on the end user. He shares his knowledge and time with numerous industry and philanthropic organizations including the Green Sports Alliance, USGBC and Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey. Chris is a fellow and lecturer at Presidio Graduate School’s MBA course on sports and sustainability and a graduate of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Program.
