David is a principal and firmwide technology sector practice leader based in San Francisco.  He leads HOK’s Science + Technology practice in emerging technology sectors, including robotics, AI, quantum sciences, computing and semiconductor R&D. 

David brings more than two decades of experience shaping high-performance environments that support scientific discovery and innovation. He specializes in translating complex technical requirements into functional, flexible spaces that foster collaboration and accelerate research outcomes. With additional design experience in almost every other sector, he brings insights from these completed projects to his current and future clients. 

David works with a diverse range of clients in the U.S. and internationally, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across HOK. He also works with the group’s regional leaders to advance business development, strengthen client relationships and support strategic growth.
