Rodrigo serves as the director of HOK’s Interiors practice in Washington, D.C., providing strategic vision and leadership for interiors work across the Mid-Atlantic region. With more than 25 years of experience, he leads multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design and delivery of complex workplace environments for corporate, legal and government clients.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Rodrigo helps organizations align workplace strategy, design and business objectives to create environments that support culture, performance and long-term flexibility. His expertise spans new offices, workplace transformations, repositioning and adaptive reuse projects, with a focus on delivering high-performing spaces that balance functionality, design excellence and sustainability.

A recognized advocate for sustainable design, Rodrigo works closely with clients and project teams to advance carbon reduction strategies, sustainability goals and resilient workplace solutions. He is active in the design and real estate communities through organizations including the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, CoreNet and the U.S. Green Building Council.
