Scott Schiamberg AIA, AICP, LEED AP

Scott Schiamberg is a leading architect and planner with decades of experience shaping the future of sports venues. As regional leader of HOK’s Sports + Recreation + Entertainment practice, he specializes in the planning and design of transformative stadiums, arenas and training facilities that enhance the athlete and fan experience while driving economic impact for communities.

Scott has collaborated with major professional and collegiate sports organizations, leading the design of venues for Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League and NCAA athletics. His expertise extends to the planning of Olympic Games, having served as a key advisor for both the 2012 London Summer Olympics and the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

With a background spanning architecture, urban design and city planning, Scott is known for delivering innovative, multi-functional venues that integrate seamlessly into their urban context. His work has earned numerous industry awards, including recognition from Athletic Business and AIA New York State. A lecturer and thought leader in sports venue design, Scott has been a visiting scholar at his alma mater, MIT School of Architecture, and written and presented extensively on the history, role and relationship of the ballpark and the American city.
