Managing Principal
“Design is important. The spaces people work, live and play in materially impact the quality of their lives. As designers, we have the ability, and the responsibility; to listen and to approach our work with care and compassion.”

As managing principal of HOK’s Canadian practice, Justin provides strategic leadership across the Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto studios while fostering design excellence, operational performance and exceptional client service. Based in Toronto, he works closely with teams across the country to advance HOK’s growth and strengthen its position as a trusted design partner.

With 20 years of architectural experience spanning science and technology, higher education, sports and recreation, and healthcare projects, Justin brings a broad perspective to solving complex design challenges. His work has focused on helping clients navigate evolving business, operational and community needs through thoughtful, high-performing design solutions.

Drawing on extensive experience in collaborative project delivery, Justin is an advocate for integrated design and continuous improvement. He believes the best outcomes are achieved when clients, designers and builders work together around shared goals, open communication and mutual trust.
