Hoang Nguyen AIA, NCARB, LEED AP

Hoang is a registered architect with nearly two decades of global experience in aviation, transportation, lifestyle and mixed-use design. He leads HOK’s Aviation + Transportation group in Los Angeles, guiding teams to deliver projects that enhance connectivity, elevate the traveler experience and strengthen communities.
Hoang’s portfolio spans major transit and airport initiatives, including the Brightline West high-speed rail stations linking Las Vegas and Southern California; the Sacramento Valley Station master plan and new bus terminal; the Los Angeles Union Station master plan; and New York’s Fulton Transit Center. Internationally, he has worked on Melbourne International Airport’s International Arrivals and Baggage Halls, Hamad International Airport City’s Master Plan and Auckland Airport’s International Arrivals Hall.
Beyond aviation and transit, Hoang has designed transformative urban and cultural projects, including San Francisco’s Piers 30-32 mixed-use waterfront redevelopment, large-scale mass timber offices in Los Angeles and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in Miami.
