Tom is a visionary design director at HOK with three decades of professional experience. As head of Interiors, he leads teams across the globe in creating spaces that enhance people’s lives. He also serves on HOK’s executive committee and board of directors, co-chairs the business strategy committee and helps guide company-wide initiatives.

Trained as an architect, Tom brings a multidimensional, human-centric approach to each project. His driving passion is to design workplaces that empower employees and shape organizational culture.

Tom is a Fellow of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and has received the IIDA New York chapter’s Leadership Award of Excellence for his commitment and contributions to the design profession. He is also a chair of DIFFA, the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.

A sought-after thought leader, Tom is a frequent speaker on workplace trends at industry events. He has been quoted by and featured in outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur,  Inc., Interior Design and Metropolis.
