Julianne Knox

Julianne is a senior principal responsible for the strategic direction of the Los Angeles studio’s marketing, business development and communication activities. She also is a member of HOK’s global marketing board.

Julianne has played a key role in expanding HOK’s presence in Southern California, with project commissions under her tenure including an on-call agreement with Los Angeles World Airports, USC’s Ginsburg Human-Centered Computation Hall, Air Lease’s Headquarters Office, the Mark Ridley-Thomas Behavioral Health Center, the City of Hope cancer care campus and projects for Pepperdine University, Sony Corporation and multiple confidential clients.

She is a passionate mentor and is skilled at training and coaching business development strategies as well as interview techniques. Julianne also is highly committed to HOK Tapestry, an online portal that brings together small and large businesses to enable HOK to curate stronger project teams and foster more equity in the AEC industry. Julianne is part of two women’s empowerment groups—The XX Project and The W Source—and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and CoreNet Global. As a dedicated advocate for mental health initiatives, she currently is collaborating with several mental health programs and agencies.
