As marketing principal, Rana leads business development for HOK’s Chicago studio. With 30 years of experience in the architecture, design and real estate industry, she develops business strategies and coaches high-performance teams with a client-centric approach. Rana is a member of the HOK’s Marketing Board.

A recognized community leader, Rana serves on several civic and professional boards, including the Forest Preserve Foundation, Lamba Alpha International, and the Chicago Central Area Committee. Crain’s Chicago Business named her a 2023 Notable Leader in DEI. She is a founding board member and past DEI committee chair of the Professional Women in Construction’s (PWC) Chicago Chapter. Rana launched the monthly “Candid Convo” peer-to-peer discussion series. She also championed preferred pricing for minority, women and disadvantaged business enterprises at PWC-Chicago events.
