HOK’s collaboration with this international financial services company began in 2009. Since then, our on-site space management team members in New York, London, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Ottawa have provided space and occupancy planning, data management, business intelligence and workplace design services.
HOK’s team has played a key role in reducing the company’s real estate expenses, optimizing the performance of its portfolio and delivering cost-effective space management solutions.
The team helped migrate the company’s real estate technology system from three regional solutions to a single global Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). During this transition, we ensured that all existing systems remained fully operational while we improved data quality, space and drawing standards and created enhanced reporting capabilities. New business intelligence dashboards provide accurate real-time portfolio and utilization information to the real estate team and space users.
HOK’s space and occupancy planners continue to help the company apply new workplace standards and support day-to-day changes in its existing space. By using a centralized planning approach, the team can deliver more consistent global services.
With the support of HOK workplace planners and designers, our space management team also helped the company develop a new global workplace strategy and associated design standards supporting increased mobility and collaboration.
