Chirag Mistry AIA, LEED AP

Director of Science + Technology

Based in Atlanta, Chirag serves as a firmwide director for HOK’s Science + Technology practice. He oversees the programming, planning and design of new and renovated science, research and education facilities across the U.S. and globally. Chirag brings a complete and total understanding of business development, project management and the design of technically complex scientific facilities, including engineering labs, bioscience and biomedical research spaces and BSL-3 facilities.

Chirag joined HOK in 2004 as an intern and has steadily taken on greater roles, lending his expertise and leadership to some of the firm’s most noteworthy Science + Technology projects, including the Francis Crick Institute, University of Chicago’s William Eckhardt Research Center, Clemson University’s Advanced Materials Innovation Complex and Emory University’s Health Sciences Research Building II, for which he served as design leader.

He has been instrumental in developing business intelligence tools specific to laboratory design and has shared his expertise in numerous articles and dozens of conferences. Chirag also sits on HOK’s Management Board.
