Mara Baum FAIA, LEED Fellow, EDAC, WELL AP

Mara leads HOK’s global health and wellness design practice, with a focus on improving the well-being of the people who occupy workplaces, buildings and communities. Based in San Francisco, she also provides strategic leadership for sustainable design and consulting across the firm’s Healthcare group.
Mara sits on the USGBC’s LEED Advisory Committee and is an online faculty member for the Boston Architectural College Sustainable Design Institute for which she teaches Green Building and Health and Sustainable Design of Healthcare Facilities. A frequent speaker on sustainable and healthy design, Mara is a WELL AP, WELL Faculty member, LEED Fellow, licensed architect and holds the EDAC (Evidence Based Design Accreditation and Certification) credential.
