The National Mall East Section: Continuity, Adaptation and Design Excellence

HOK’s Suzette Goldstein and Xingye Pan will present at the 2024 ASLA Conference on planning design innovation.

The session will feature a case study on the National Mall East Section with focuses on four key areas: the history of the Mall; the revitalization of the greensward; the gardens surrounding the Smithsonian Institution’s Castle; and the National Museum of the American Indian, including the new National Native American Veterans Memorial.
