HOK has promoted interior designers Jodie Crohn to director of interiors and Kelly Lott to director of design, interiors, in its St. Louis studio. Julie Villa has also joined the St. Louis studio as regional leader of planning.

HOK is strengthening its St. Louis studio with the promotion of two senior interior designers to new leadership roles and the strategic hiring of a new regional leader for its planning, urban design and landscape architecture practices.

Jodie Crohn will serve as the studio’s director of interiors to develop the practice and promote design excellence on all projects. She brings deep experience leading the interior design of corporate workplaces, science and technology, healthcare, and civic and justice projects.

Recognized as a rising leader in the design community, Crohn has been named to the American Society of Interior Designers’ “Ones to Watch” list and to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 30 Under 30 earlier in her career. Her insights on design have appeared in Interiors + Sources, Preservation magazine and the St. Louis Business Journal. Crohn succeeds Brad Liebman, who now serves as marketing principal for the St. Louis office.

Kelly Lott brings more than 25 years of experience in the lifestyle, corporate and commercial markets, specializing in the hospitality, multifamily residential, legal and financial sectors. An award-winning designer, she collaborates with clients to create inclusive, memorable environments that elevate the user experience. As the director of design, interiors, Lott will partner with Crohn and work with the full Interiors practice to deliver thoughtful, high-performing spaces that reflect clients’ vision and priorities.

At HOK, Lott is a member of the firmwide Design Board and the Interior Design Council, and she is a regional lifestyle director. Her work has earned industry recognition from Interior Design magazine, IIDA and AIA St. Louis, and her designs have been featured in St. Louis Magazine. Lott is also an active member of the IIDA St. Louis chapter.

Julie Villa joins HOK as leader of the firm’s planning, urban design and landscape architecture efforts across the St. Louis region. Her award-winning portfolio includes higher education campuses, civic districts, transportation hubs, lifestyle developments and mixed-use environments. She excels at translating community needs and client goals into buildable plans that strengthen the public realm.

An active voice in the planning and design profession, Villa serves as the 2025 board chair of the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council and was a juror for the Associated General Contractors of Missouri’s 2024 Construction Keystone Awards. She is a member of the AIA, the St. Louis chapter of the Society for College & University Planning and the Association for Learning Environments.

These leadership appointments reinforce HOK’s design leadership in St. Louis ahead of the studio’s upcoming move to Peabody Plaza in downtown St. Louis.
