Brad Liebman Named Marketing Principal for HOK’s St. Louis Studio

HOK has promoted Brad Liebman to marketing principal in its St. Louis studio. Liebman succeeds Margaret McDonald, who will transition to a consulting role, advising on strategic initiatives and supporting the studio’s leadership team during the transition.

A design leader and trusted collaborator with more than 25 years of experience, Liebman is recognized for his exceptional client engagement skills and wide-ranging design expertise. As marketing principal, he will work with the St. Louis leadership team, including Co-CEO and Design Principal Eli Hoisington, Managing Principal Angelo Arzano and Technical Principal Tony Raya, to lead business development, pursue projects and expand HOK’s design presence in the region.

“Brad is a dynamic leader with a true passion for design and a unique talent for building strong, meaningful client relationships,” said Hoisington. “His energy, creativity and collaborative spirit will be key to growing HOK’s presence and opening new opportunities in the St. Louis region.”

Liebman previously served as director of interiors for the St. Louis studio, where he led award-winning projects for clients including Polsinelli, Microsoft, Energizer, Tyson Foods, Enterprise, Cummins, Rockwell Collins and Square. The studio will announce new interiors leadership in the coming weeks. Liebman also co-chairs the firm’s Diversity Advisory Council. Outside the firm, he serves on the board of the Independence Center in St. Louis and is an active member of the St. Louis chapters of both the Certified Commercial Investment Membership (CCIM) Institute and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).

Leadership Transition and Continued Strategic Support

Since joining HOK in 2013, McDonald has held progressively senior roles, expanding regional awareness of HOK’s brand and reputation for design excellence. Her leadership has been instrumental in securing significant commissions with the U.S. General Services Administration, Missouri Foundation for Health, Centene, Ameren, Microsoft and several projects in the St. Louis Cortex Innovation Community. Her efforts were pivotal in HOK’s recent selection for the landmark terminal consolidation project at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

“It has been an incredible privilege to work alongside Margaret for the past 11 years, expanding HOK’s presence and design impact,” said Hoisington. “Her ability to unite teams, build lasting client relationships, strengthen our connections in the community and lead with thoughtful, strategic planning has been a huge part of our success. We’re excited to continue working with Margaret in her new role as a trusted consultant.”

HOK was recently named a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for the eighth consecutive year. This recognition reflects the collaborative, innovative and warm culture that McDonald and Liebman have helped cultivate.
