The Clover at Olive Crossing is a luxurious mixed-use residence in suburban St. Louis that provides a premium living experience. With a sophisticated brand identity that reflects its focus on wellness, sustainability and convenience, The Clover offers 181 multifamily units. Local amenities include retail and restaurants, an on-site fitness center, an outdoor fitness area, a connection to the Centennial Greenway, and easy access to the city’s urban core and Clayton district.

HOK delivered a seamless brand experience at The Clover by integrating brand positioning, naming, logo design and interior design. The cohesive approach draws inspiration from the interiors, while also shaping and supporting the physical design, showcasing the true essence of luxury living.

To create The Clover’s brand identity, HOK’s Experience Design group started with a comprehensive process that included a brand brief outlining the desired personality and mood of the location, residents and amenities.

The team chose “The Clover” as the name, reflecting the luxury and ease of life offered by the residence. The name also relates to the incorporation of Olivette in the 1930s by joining four local communities.

HOK designed the logo, which features a friendly and asymmetrical word mark in lowercase letters that embodies the sophistication and welcoming spirit of the brand. The abstracted four-leaf clover, created from the shapes of the O and C in the wordmark, symbolizes the strong connection to the Olive Crossing community and adds a touch of classic elegance to the design. This brand identity accurately represents the premium living experience offered at The Clover and helps set it apart as a luxurious residence.

In addition to designing the brand identity, HOK designed the interiors of the apartments, lobby, fitness center, gaming areas, social lounge, club room, pool deck and private lounges on each floor. The light and fresh color palette, balanced by charcoal elements, warm wood tones, gold accents and rich textural materials, creates a modern and sophisticated feel that complements the elegant interior design.
