As technical principal in HOK’s St. Louis office, Angelo Arzano, AIA, manages the delivery process and ensures the technical quality of each of practice.
“A technical architect is, basically, the person who gets the work done. We’re here to assist the design architects. We help them with the systems. We help give them guidance. Ideally, we want to get involved right up front on the project. This way, as the design is developing, we can continue to go back and do studies and look at the codes and look at the building technologies to be sure we’re using the right approaches.”
