Saad Dimachkieh

Senior Principal Saad Dimachkieh, PE, CLEP, LEED AP, is an electrical engineer and engineering leader based in Houston.

Saad, who joined HOK in 1980, works closely with owners, architects, consultants and contractors to integrate a project’s engineering design from conceptual phases through construction. His responsibilities include engineering management; design and documentation of lighting systems, power distribution systems and fire alarm systems; and coordination with consultant team members to design security and telecommunication systems. 

Saad has designed electrical distribution systems for a range of complex projects including a 130 MVA distribution system, 15,000 kW emergency power generators and 8,700 kW uninterruptible power supply systems.

Saad is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). As a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP), he has led the electrical engineering design for many LEED certified projects.
