The HOK-designed Polsinelli Denver law office has won a citation award for interior architecture in AIA Kansas City‘s annual Design Excellence Awards.
Located on the top four floors of a new Denver high-rise, the office features panoramic views of the nearby Rocky Mountains. Capitalizing on the building’s height and location, the interior celebrates these views with a modern mountain aesthetic.
The awards honor the top architecture, interior architecture and unbuilt projects by Kansas City-area design firms.
HOK’s WorkPlace experts have collaborated with Polsinelli on 24 office projects in 18 cities over the last six years. These projects have played an integral role in establishing the law firm’s workplace design standards and creating a consistent brand experience across its U.S. offices. By visually communicating Polsinelli’s brand and culture, these offices serve as recruiting, marketing and community engagement tools.
The project also won an IIDA Mid-America Design Award in the large corporate category and the Engineering News-Record Mountain States Project of the Year Award in the interiors category.
