Porsche Cars North America Experience Center and Headquarters

Atlanta, Georgia

HOK’s design invites customers, business partners and brand enthusiasts to celebrate every aspect of Porsche.

A curvy, 1.6-mile test track shoots through the building’s lower levels before vanishing into the courtyard and beyond. Though it is the track that immediately connects visitors to Porsche’s legendary heritage, this is more than a testing ground for motor sport enthusiasts. The building also brings together employees from five divisions into one sleek, high-performance workplace.

To immerse visitors in the Porsche experience, the team incorporated motor-sport-related cues. Vintage and modern Porsches are on display in a classic car gallery. Exterior and interior wall configurations keep track noise outdoors.

Visitors can see historic Porsches undergoing renovations at the restoration center. In the design studio, customers can virtually create their dream cars with fully customizable options. Restaurant 356, named for the first production Porsche, offers diners front-row seats and a balcony overlooking the track.

HOK designed the three levels of contemporary, naturally illuminated office space to encourage collaboration and creativity. A 13,000-sq.-ft. business center features state-of-the-art conference rooms, event spaces and a driving simulator lab.

The building’s east-west exposures eliminate glare. North-south curtain walls maximize natural light and minimize solar heat gain.
