Sidewalk overhangs offer pedestrians respite in this subtropical climate where both rain and extreme sun can be a daily occurrence. Activity from the hotel lobby and dining will spill onto a shaded public promenade along the River Basin plaza east of the site.
The 104,000-sq.-ft. hotel podium houses 10,000 square feet of ground-level retail space facing Bay Street and 210 parking spaces.
