EY wanted a flexible facility where it could host a wide variety of events, dinners and educational forums while showcasing the innovation and expertise it brings to clients.
After analyzing data from previous EY events, similar spaces in Toronto and upcoming client campaigns, the design team created a plan with dynamic spaces that can easily adapt to many different uses. As the elevator doors open onto the 40th floor of a downtown high-rise, guests and employees are met with a welcoming, hotel-like reception area.
Floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular 360-degree views of Toronto and beyond. Complemented by clerestories and skylights, the glass curtain wall draws in daylight, illuminating the wood, leather, cool limestone and soft furnishings found within the Centre’s innovation lab, high-tech boardrooms, collaborative meeting areas and vibrant events space.
The Centre has decreased EY’s conference costs while enhancing its stature among clients, employees and competitors.
