HOK has named Anton Foss, AIA, managing principal of the firm’s San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City studios, to its Executive Committee—the most senior leadership body guiding global strategy and operations.
“Anyone who has worked with Anton knows why he is an ideal addition,” said HOK Co-CEO Susan Klumpp Williams, AIA, LEED AP. “His collaborative spirit, West Coast perspective and record of firmwide leadership will be invaluable as we navigate the opportunities ahead.”
Foss joined 360 Architecture in 1998 and transitioned to HOK with its acquisition in 2015. He has since built a thriving West Coast practice and taken on multiple governance roles, including chairing HOK’s Management Board and serving on the Board of Directors and Operations Committee.
“Anton has demonstrated an ability to unite teams, elevate design excellence and drive business performance,” Klumpp Williams added. “Bringing his voice to the Executive Committee is a key step in our long-term succession strategy.”
In his new role, Foss will help oversee firm operations while continuing to lead the San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City studios. He is also the 2025 president of AIA San Francisco.
“I’m honored to join the Executive Committee and to support the next chapter of growth for HOK,” said Foss. “Our strength has always come from working as one team, and I look forward to expanding that culture of collaboration across the firm.”
