HOK Strengthens Design Leadership in D.C. and Miami

Wayne Nickles has been promoted to practice leader of Science + Technology (S+T) in HOK’s Washington, D.C., studio, and Neil Sauer has joined HOK as architectural practice leader in Miami.

Wayne Nickles, AIA, LEED AP, brings more than 25 years of design excellence to his architectural projects. He specializes in designing research and development facilities with high-profile projects including AstraZeneca’s Kendall Square R&D Hub in Cambridge, Mass., and the UPMC Mercy Pavilion in Pittsburgh. As S+T practice leader, Nickles will lead HOK’s Science + Technology projects in the Washington, D.C., region.

Neil Sauer, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is a seasoned architectural leader in HOK’s Miami office with more than 30 years of design experience. His expertise spans various project types, including healthcare, higher education, municipalities, and sports and recreation facilities. He is committed to advancing sustainable design practices that support HOK’s mission to improve people’s lives through design.
