HOK Welcomes Amine Khemakhem as a Director of Global Healthcare Practice

HOK has announced the appointment of Amine Khemakhem as a principal and firmwide director of its global Healthcare practice.

Khemakhem is based in Los Angeles. He brings over 20 years of professional experience in leading large-scale healthcare projects in the United States and abroad.

Khemakhem joins Paul Strohm and Scott Rawlings as directors of HOK’s firmwide Healthcare group.

Throughout his career, Khemakhem has held numerous leadership positions. He has consistently developed and mentored talent, particularly in healthcare design. With his extensive experience spanning projects of varying scales across the medical, clinical and research sectors, Khemakhem brings an unparalleled level of design flexibility and innovation.

In his new role, Khemakhem leads strategic initiatives for the Healthcare group, promotes innovative design solutions, and assembles and manages project teams tailored to client needs. His proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ensures that projects are delivered on time and within budget while providing exceptional value to clients and communities.

An alumnus of the University of Minnesota, Khemakhem holds a Master’s in Architecture and a Bachelor’s in Science in Architecture with a Design minor. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
