Based in HOK’s Toronto studio, John Ciarmela, OAA, MRAIC, is the new technical principal for the firm’s Canadian practice.
Ciarmela leads the technical direction and development of all projects designed across HOK’s studios in Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary. He is also a member of the firm-wide technical board working to improve HOK’s project delivery standards and protocols. Over the past three decades, Ciarmela has provided technical and project delivery leadership for complex healthcare, transit, corporate, commercial, sports and institutional projects.
