Kimberly Dowdell

Design for Equity Symposium

HOK’s Kimberly Dowdell will present on “The Future of Architecture – A Future for ALL” at AIA Kansas City’s Design for Equity Symposium.

As the U.S. becomes more diverse and our cities become more densely populated, architects have a unique opportunity to reimagine how people live, work and play together. Today’s firms will need to adapt to rapidly approaching demands and ensure that they are creating inclusive environments that cultivate heightened productivity for the firm, both internally and externally. This presentation will cover implementable strategies to help architecture and design firms become more culturally competent and better prepared to engage with an increasingly diverse society.
