Based in a Manhattan office tower, this five-floor workplace maximizes space and enhances employee productivity for a fast-paced financial firm.

HOK worked with the client to develop a design kit-of-parts that could be applied through multiple phases of expansion. The result is a modern and clean aesthetic that prioritizes convenience and efficiencies throughout the entirety of the office and its many amenity spaces.

The workplace accommodates both individual and group work with private offices, open workstations, conference rooms, a training center and a trading floor. A coffee bar with barista, café, gym and wellness facility with massage rooms support employee health and well-being.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in open spaces, conference rooms and offices fill the workplace with natural daylight and provide sweeping views of the New York skyline.

Interconnecting stairs activate the workplace and allow employees to quickly connect between floors rather than wait for the tower’s elevators. HOK worked with city officials to obtain special permits and design the stairwells to meet New York City’s code requirements.

HOK’s Experience Design team created custom, high-end wayfinding and signage throughout the office. With a focus on quiet sophistication, the signage features frosted acrylic, brushed metals and bespoke brushed bronze icons and lettering. Custom glass film provides room privacy, while intuitive room numbering supports easy wayfinding and navigation.
