Long Beach City Hall Workplace Change Management

The Long Beach Civic Center project includes replacement of the old City Hall with a modern, 11-story building.

HOK’s consulting team is helping City Hall employees transition from a traditional, hierarchical work environment to an open floor plan office with formal and informal collaboration spaces and new technologies.

Following move-in, HOK’s team will guide Long Beach City Hall employees in familiarizing themselves with the benefits of the new workplace, as well as how to work as effectively as possible in their new space.

These change management services began during the building’s early planning stages and will continue through construction and move-in, culminating with a post-occupancy evaluation.
