Dentsu Aegis Network Office

Dentsu Aegis Network’s West Coast office is in a new building located in the heart of Culver City, California.

The plan is flexible to accommodate the global media group’s operating companies. HOK’s design team took cues from Culver City itself as well as the surrounding neighborhoods to create a surprising, dynamic environment.

An expansive pantry clad in corrugated metal greets employees and visitors. With direct views and access to an outdoor terrace, this space naturally invites people to sit and meet with colleagues. Amenity elements like the pastel pink coffee bar are placed throughout the open-plan space and display rich characteristics from the neighborhood in their forms and materials.

The design of the mezzanine takes inspiration from the Hollywood Hills hillside neighborhood, with a dark green textured wall providing a backdrop for the large ‘Dentsu’ sign. A white painted metal handrail wraps the perimeter of the mezzanine slab, with its design and proportions suggesting the framing of the iconic Hollywood Sign.
