The company wanted to replace its highly customized space management system with an enhanced off-the-shelf solution.
HOK’s team facilitated work sessions with the company’s stakeholder groups and documented their list of “needs” and “wants” for a space management system. We then led them through a comprehensive assessment of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) available on the market and identified several solutions that merited further consideration.
The assessment had two elements. First, vendors were asked to respond to a detailed questionnaire. Next, HOK carefully scripted a demonstration of the vendor’s IWMS to show how it would meet the company’s specific requirements.
Each company stakeholder completed an HOK-developed scorecard that ranked the products on technical capability, ease of use and cost.
