HOK completed a quality audit of the company’s internal space planning and data management processes, organization, roles and responsibilities, and data accuracy.
HOK’s team used a proprietary scorecard system that incorporates 10 space planning and data management principles. We assigned principles and a subset of supporting elements to each discipline and rated them based on stakeholder interviews. We also reviewed existing documentation, reports, processes, drawings and data.
The results included a benchmark report comparing the company’s space management performance to comparable organizations. The report also identified the top five actions that would have the most potential to improve its performance.
HOK is now helping the company roll out an improvement plan.
