Matthew Williamson PE

Matthew is an engineering practice leader specializing in mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design. Based in HOK’s San Francisco studio, he has over 25 years of experience in planning, management, design and construction administration for complex projects in the private and public sectors. He has overseen breadth of project typologies including museums, libraries, offices, high-rise commercial and residential buildings, clean-rooms for the biotech and microelectronics fields, BSL3 laboratories, data centers and research laboratories.

During his career, Matthew has served as a as lead plumbing/public health engineer, MEP coordinator, design manager, project manager, bid manager and project director. He belongs to both the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
