George Blume AIA, IIDA, NCARB

Principal–Design

George is the principal–design in HOK’s Austin studio. He has nearly two decades of experience designing award-winning projects in the corporate, commercial, mixed-use and residential markets.

As a resident of Austin since the 1980s, George strives to design places that elevate and enhance the communities of Central Texas while providing clients profound success. He believes that all successful projects provide transformative places that reward not only the clients and users, but also the community at large. George contributes to strive in his career to create experiences that are unexpected and that capture the imagination of the people that inhabit them. He has been quoted in numerous publications about his workplace and mixed-use design projects in Austin.

Registered as both an architect and interior designer, George is a member of the American Institute of Architects, International Interior Design Association, National Council of Architectural Registration Board and the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
