Jay Tatum

Based in Houston, Jay Tatum, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is the managing principal for HOK’s Texas and Florida practices. In addition to providing strategic direction for this Gulf Coast region, he is responsible for ensuring exceptional client service and for leading the day-to-day operations of the firm’s Dallas, Houston and Tampa offices.

Jay has nearly 30 years of experience as a project director, project manager and project architect for significant design projects.

He is a member of HOK’s board of directors and management board, as well as the advisory board for Texas Tech University’s College of Architecture. In addition, Jay serves on Houston-area boards and committees for organizations including Preservation Houston, the Greater Houston Partnership, the Houston First Corporation and the Boy Scouts of America.
