HOK Opens New Office in Denver

HOK is expanding its reach in Colorado and the Mountain States with the addition of a new studio in downtown Denver.

Located in the LoDo District in the LoDo Towers, the office will support multiple HOK disciplines and markets, including Healthcare, Science + Technology, Sports + Recreation + Entertainment, Aviation + Transportation, Higher Education and WorkPlace.

“We have long had a presence in the region thanks to deep developer and client relationships and high-profile projects,” said Bill Hellmuth, HOK’s chairman and CEO. “We see tremendous opportunities for growth in Colorado and across the Mountain States and are excited about the opportunities this new studio will provide for our people, our clients and the firm.”

The studio will have a soft opening in February and fully open its doors this spring, once buildout is complete. The Denver space will support HOK people  already working in the region and additional staff who will relocate in coming months. Leaders in the Denver office include Bill Johnson, design principal for HOK’s Sports + Recreation + Entertainment practice, and Candace Todd, a senior interior designer.

“This new office will serve as an important outpost to support existing and future work in Denver and beyond,” said Angelo Arzano, managing principal of HOK’s Denver and St. Louis studios. “We look forward to being able to better serve our clients with the addition of this new studio.”

Recent HOK project work in the region includes the William J. Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, Polsinelli’s office in downtown Denver and strategic and facility master planning for UCHealth.
