MediaCom, a GroupM content agency, wanted a family vibe. HOK’s design includes sunken living rooms, a variety of meeting spaces and a two-story internal staircase. A wall stripe of magenta, MediaCom’s brand color, guides visitors from the reception area to meeting spaces.

Essence, a global data and measurement-driven agency, wanted to imbue its distinct flavor in the space. Unique signage, neon lights, bar carts, an eclectic array of furniture and custom pieces, such as the boiler room door that hangs on a library wall, create a dynamic environment.

Openmind features a comfortable, residential feeling with wood baffling, bookshelves, raised-panel doors and cabinets, and interactive graphics. Preserved moss and nature-inspired graphics bring the outside into the space.

Reminiscent of home, names of conference rooms and other shared spaces include Gazebo (open meeting space), Porch (pitch room), Living Room (reception), Terrace (collaboration area), Family Room (lounge), Quiet Nook (booth seating), Study (open meeting) and Den (collaboration area). Vibrant pops of color express Openmind’s brand colors and friendly culture.

That insight enabled the team to create bespoke spaces that reflect the personality of each brand while advancing WPP’s reputation as a global leader in the ad industry.
