HOK’s Bart van Vliet will lead a presentation at the Passenger Terminal Expo with Monterey Regional Airport Executive Director Chris Morello on the airport’s net zero terminal design.
Bart and Chris will discuss an integrated, data-driven approach to designing net zero airport terminals from both the designer and owner perspectives. They will discuss integrated design strategies, lessons learned from the new Monterey Regional Airport project set to open in 2027, and how smaller regional airports can serve as scalable models for regenerative, carbon-neutral design.
