Autumn Visconti
HOK’s Autumn Visconti will join a panel discussion on Radical Transparency: Authentic Engagement to Deliver Better Facility Design and Enduring Justice Reform at the AIA’s Academy of Architecture for Justice 2026 Fall Conference.
The discussion explores New York’s Borough-Based Jails Program and the commitment to radical transparency—an ongoing process of engagement that incorporates input from the community, advocates, oversight agencies and design-builders into project requirements and design decisions. Panelists will share the role of the Independent Rikers Commission, the introduction of design-build delivery, and the evolution of engagement strategies across New York’s four distinct neighborhoods.
Attend Autumn’s session on October 7 at 2:00 PM CT.
