HOK’s Mark Hendel will be a featured speaker at the National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA) Summit 2022 on “Welcome to Chicago: O’Hare’s International Terminal Modernization.”
Mark’s presentation will explore the Chicago O’Hare International Airport’s multi-billion-dollar modernization and expansion of Terminal 5, set to open later this year. The project expands the international terminal’s capacity by 25% and provides a large new community gathering area with a signature column-free vaulted space that welcomes natural light and offers views of the Chicago skyline.
