It Takes a Village: Bringing the Continuum of Care for Underserved Pediatrics to Los Angeles
HOK’s Hunvey Chen will join the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo to discuss the continuum of care for underserved pediatrics in Los Angeles.
The session will explore the nation’s first comprehensive behavioral health continuum for children and youth in Los Angeles’ Watts neighborhoods. Using a quilt-inspired design symbolizing community unity, the facility integrates trauma-informed principles, cultural context and biophilic elements to provide healing-centered care from primary services through residential treatment.
