HOK’s Roana Tirado will serve as the lead presenter at the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) 2022 Designing a Better Future Conference on “Designing for Equity, Engagement, and Empowerment: San Francisco Bayview Open Space Plan.”
The presentation will address the geographic inequities in the distribution of open space. The session will focus on a creative partnership with SF Public Works, the Bayview community and design firm HOK to implement a community-driven open space plan, guidelines and newly built gateway park at the southeast entrance to San Francisco.
