Mara Baum

Mara Baum, FAIA, EDAC, WELL, LEED Fellow is the leader of HOK’s global health and wellness design practice, with a focus on improving the well-being of the people who occupy workplaces, buildings and communities. Based in San Francisco, she also provides strategic leadership for sustainable design and consulting across the firm’s Healthcare practice.

Mara sits on the USGBC’s LEED Advisory Committee and is an online faculty member for the Boston Architectural College Sustainable Design Institute, where she teaches Green Building and Health and Sustainable Design of Healthcare Facilities. She is a WELL AP, WELL Faculty member, LEED Fellow, licensed architect and holds the EDAC (Evidence Based Design Accreditation and Certification) credential.
