Christine Vandover IIDA, LEED AP
Christine is a principal and senior project interior designer in HOK’s New York studio, and sits on the firm’s global design board. She brings creativity and critical thinking to her work, driven by a curiosity for new ideas and visuals. Christine excels at guiding integrated teams to deliver exceptional designs, from small spaces to million-square-foot projects.
She is a leader of HOK’s global sustainability initiative to transform interior design practices for healthier buildings. With a team of 30+ advisors across HOK offices, this initiative aims to improve material selections firmwide.
Christine’s work has been published in Interior Design, Contract, Metropolis and Healthcare Design. Her furniture design for the IOA Portico collection was featured at the ICFF MoMA Opening Party, and her Allsteel Reflect chair with BMW Designworks won Interior Design’s Best of Year award.
Christine is also an acclaimed speaker, having presented on topics like sustainability, design and branding at prominent conferences and events including Metropolis Sustainability Lab, Greenbuild, CoreNet, DIFFA, the 92Y City of Tomorrow Summit, ICFF Talks, Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Healthcare Design Conference.
Living in Brooklyn and working in Manhattan fuels Christine’s passion for pop-up events, trend tracking and fashion styling.
