Anthony Fieldman AIA

Design Principal
“Design fundamentally shapes how we feel. While good design supports us in our daily lives, great design has the unique ability to also uplift, surprise and delight us, to regulate our mood and our well-being, and to feed our spirit. The search for these intangible qualities drives our design process.”

Anthony is the design principal for HOK’s Canadian practice and a member of the firm’s design board and board of directors. Based in Toronto, he provides design leadership for projects across Canada and throughout the world.

Over the past 25 years, Anthony has led or contributed to the design of more than 100 buildings in 19 countries. His projects have won 50 design awards on three continents, and his work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale and the National Building Museum, and has appeared in numerous publications including Newsweek, Metropolis, Wallpaper and the Wall Street Journal. Anthony captured the top education award at the prestigious World Architecture Festival.

A native of Montreal, Anthony was raised in a bilingual English-French household and spent two years in Italy as a student studying photography and fresco painting. He has published a photography book titled New York Through an Architect’s Lens.
