Daniel Niewoehner, AIA, is a regional leader of HOK’s Science + Technology group.
Based in Chicago, Daniel brings more than two decades of experience leading the development of integrated scientific workplaces that combine an organization’s strategy, space types and sciences to create interdisciplinary research facilities that lead to innovations and scientific breakthroughs. He has led the the programming, planning and design of state research facilities as well as federal projects for the DOE, USDA, VA and NIH.
He is a frequent speaker, published author and active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) and the Association of Public Health Labs (APHL).
