Chris Laul is the marketing principal for HOK’s New York office. He is a member of HOK’s board of directors and vice chair of the marketing board.
Chris has played a key role in the expansion of HOK’s tri-state presence into one of Crain’s top three architecture firms in greater New York City. His tenure at HOK has resulted in several signature corporate headquarters project commissions in the New York area, including the design of new headquarters space for Canon North America, White & Case, Gap, Avon and LG Electronics. Chris is responsible for the strategic direction of all HOK’s marketing, business development and public relations activities in the New York metropolitan region.
Chris devotes time to numerous professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Architectural League of New York, Urban Land Institute (ULI), New York Building Congress (NYBC), Municipal Art Society of New York and CoreNet Global. He is also an established fine artist with gallery representation in New York and Santa Fe as well as a notable presence in private and corporate collections.
