Rob Williamson Joins HOK as Regional Science + Technology Leader in San Francisco

Rob Williamson, AIA, LEEP AP, brings 17 years of experience managing the design and construction of complex science and research buildings, with an emphasis on academic science facilities.

Williamson joins HOK in San Francisco as a principal and regional leader of Science + Technology. His past projects include laboratories and classrooms at the University of California campuses at Berkeley, Davis, and San Francisco, as well as at Berkeley City College and Foothill Community College.

“Rob has a deep understanding of how to build and strengthen a science and research design practice,” said Tim O’Connell, AIA, LEED AP, a director of HOK’s Science + Technology practice. “Not only does he have technical design expertise, but he has a proven record of leading teams across disciplines to create spaces that have a positive impact.”

Williamson earned a Bachelor of Art in Architecture and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. Originally from the Los Angeles area, Williamson has been in the Bay Area for over two decades.
