Matt Staublin, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined HOK as senior vice president and technical principal in San Francisco and Seattle.
As an architect with 25 years of technical design experience, Staublin is overseeing the delivery of projects in the firm’s San Francisco and Seattle studios.
Staublin joins HOK from MG2 in Seattle, where he managed technical delivery for the commercial design studio while redeveloping the architecture firm’s quality assurance/quality control program and technical standards. Prior to that, he was a technical architect and studio head in SOM’s Chicago office, where he helped lead a diverse portfolio of international projects.
“Matt’s design and technical expertise bring tremendous value to our clients,” said Anton Foss, AIA, managing principal for HOK in San Francisco and Seattle. “He has the unique ability to manage the project delivery process while fostering a collaborative culture in which design professionals from every discipline can contribute to a project’s success.”
Staublin holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati.
