Working collaboratively with the university, architects and interior designers, HOK’s Experience Design team developed a visual graphics program that communicates the RedHawks’ brand and generates excitement on game days and beyond.
Strategically located between Yager Stadium and the Dauch Indoor Sports Center, the APC balances unique spaces for the Miami RedHawks football program with shared amenities for all student-athletes. Inspired by the feathers of the hawk and strength of the Miami University “M” letterform, HOK’s Experience Design team developed a family of bold graphics that reflect the program’s power and positivity.
The design augments the university’s existing color palette and brand graphics with custom patterns and cropped imagery. The graphics weave together a sense of pride and tradition in a sleek, contemporary design.
A football “Hall of Champions” wall and a display celebrating the university’s reputation as the “Cradle of the Coaches” help tell strategic stories about the program. Vivid graphics throughout the shared sports medicine facilities and weight room celebrate the accomplishments of the entire athletics department.
